+ if a person just genuinely doesn't like gay people
1. there's a non-zero chance that they actually just don't like queerness, and even if not, a lot of unironic homophobes are surprisingly "live and let live", they just don't want Pride, which is 100% reasonable, I want Pride kicked into the sun
2. there's no getting rid of gay people and any measure that achieves anything close to that is way more immoral anyway
3. doing genuine, unironic, actual oppression (I need to fuckin qualify it 3+ times because of queertards ffs) is what spawned queerness, gave them the power of ressentiment narratives etc. so doing it again will spawn queer 2.0 and we'll just go through the 50s-2020s all over again, so we need a different path that is not Queerness or oppression, a path that actually (for all intents and purposes) ends the problem

There is a certain kind of manager who feels obligated to make his mark on every product he's shown, to prove he's valuable I guess. Usually this type of manager also knows little or nothing about software development OR the game industry. Which also means they can't give a measurable instruction. He says something like, "make the tutorial easier" or "the start menu is too complex"

Usually this means we devs can just do nothing, then claim we addressed his needs (the placebo effect). He won't know the difference. I did this on several occasions at MicroProse.

Such a narrative can be based in history, science, theology or philosophy, it doesn't really matter, but what it needs is to: 1. allow for a wide range of personal freedom, as very opposed to Queerness, which despite its (largely poached) symbolism and slogans is extremely restrictive and internally opporessive

2. allow self-worth to be attainable and future-oriented and measured in time and actual, tangible achievement, which will be expanded on in a moment

And 3. allow for personal dignity, as opposed to Queerness, again, and its direct opposition to traditional understandings of standards and dignity (and everything else, really)

What I would posit as a wholesome community narrative for gays is drawn from my personal life:

Even before I knew I was bisexual, I never had a strong desire to have children, and after realising that I was, I knew that there will always be a certain % chance that I would never have the opportunity even if I did desire it

However what I have always had a strong desire for is creation, specifically artistically

I want to make art, comics, animation series, stories, I want to make people happy with my art. Art that a mother or father would enjoy so much that they would want to share it with their children, like my father shared the stories he loved as a kid with me

I want that to be my legacy

I would posit that, even maybe from an evolutionary standpoint but definitely a sociological standpoint, it is the function of The Homosexual to not necessarily have a genetic legacy but to have a cultural one

And even if that's not technically the purpose of homosexuality, I can still use my pencil sharpener as a paperweight, we are smart enough to just make it so. Functional Fixedness and all that.

Gays, actually exactly like childless straight people, should use the time and energy that they would otherwise spend on parenthood to contribute to society through artistic, cultural, scientific and intellectual persuits

This is the destiny, the purpose, that Queerness has robbed millions of gays of

The "Gay Destiny" is not communist piss orgies and an ugly, wretched, pointless death from a billion STD's

The Gay Destiny is to pass on your legacy, not in DNA but in the minds of the potential millions that you could positively influence with your life

This satisfies all three criteria: 1. allow for a wide range of personal freedom, 2. allow self-worth to be future-oriented and measured in merit, time and achievement, and 3. allow for personal dignity

And the brilliance of this narrative, to toot my own horn, is that it is perfectly in line with the true essence of small c conservatism; Planting trees under who's shade you will never sit.
