Getting someone to switch to your product is hard. Some pre-existing notions or expectations will always have them immediately comparing your service to their previous provider.
This doesn't give you room to innovate.
However, someone who hasn't yet tasted life in this new experience is more open and able to be thrilled.
So, enter; a roadside business.
But all hope is not lost.
There are places to find early customers and many people have talked about it.
One of the places to find early customers or partners is your fellow new business. They are more empathetic, their own services/product don't even yet work well etc.
Large corporates have too much at stake -- their reputation, and scale of customer complaints which can lead to the loss of hard-won customers, and ultimately top-line decline.
Many ppl lazily chase large corporations because of the potential of immediately booking large revenue and demonstrating impressive growth metrics.
But I hope you know that it's harder to win-back a customer, than to acquire a new one. Some studies say it cost 5x more to winback a customer vs acquiring a new one.
