The Trump Administration has announced it is including biotechnology in the proposed rules to implement the Comprehensive Outbound Investment National Security (COINS) Act signed into law last year. Chairman @RepMoolenaar made the following statement:

[Select Committee on China @ChinaSelect]

Xi Jinping can try and hide the truth about the Cultural Revolution, but we know what really happened.

The Select Committee has a new video exclusively on its YouTube channel, about the Cultural Revolution that tells the real history: https://t.co/qqEdt51wm4

This is the history of Tibet the CCP wants people to forget.

[Select Committee on China @ChinaSelect]

America’s foundational values of liberty and free expression are universal, and they will always prevail over the repression and tyranny of Xi Jinping.

CCP-linked nonprofit networks are exploiting U.S. laws to fuel division and anger in America’s public debates. Many are primarily funded by Neville Roy Singham, a U.S. citizen living in China who has funneled hundreds of millions of dollars into U.S. advocacy groups.

Last month, Chairman @RepMoolenaar and @RepJasonSmith sent a letter to @USTreasury, @SecScottBessent, and IRS CEO Frank Bisignano requesting an investigation into these organizations.

Major American companies are enabling the CCP’s human rights abuses and military ambitions. These moves endanger America's national security.

[Select Committee on China @ChinaSelect]

A recent Select Committee report uncovered a profound gap between @WebullGlobal's marketing as an American company and the CCP’s influence over its ownership and operations. With billions of dollars in American capital potentially exposed, these ties raise serious concerns. Americans deserve to know who controls the platforms they trust with their money. https://t.co/cmMVNAB8jf

Thank you, @DeptofWar, for working with universities to address foreign relationships of concern on the Section 1286 List and protect critical research. To ensure taxpayer-funded research is not exploited by foreign adversaries and strengthen research security safeguards, Congress must pass Chairman @RepMoolenaar’s bipartisan SIRA Act.

[Department of War CTO @DoWCTO]

The @DeptofWar worked collaboratively with the 30 universities to mitigate foreign relationships of concern on the Section 1286 List, protecting critical research that supports the American warfighter.

The Department will continue working with Congress and academia to ensure taxpayer funded research is not exploited by foreign entities against the United States.

Chairman @RepMoolenaar made the following statement on @DHSgov’s order banning DeepSeek technology from all federal civilian agencies' IT systems:

[Select Committee on China @ChinaSelect]

Prominent dissident artist Gao Zhen was detained by the CCP for his work. In addition, the CCP is now holding his seven-year old American son and wife under an exit ban and refusing to let them return to America.

Watch to learn how the CCP uses arbitrary detention and exit bans to hold American families hostage and suppress freedom of expression.

[Select Committee on China @ChinaSelect]

The Pentagon recently announced the results of its research security audits of major American universities and the termination of dozens of collaborations between universities and Chinese entities of concern. Chairman @RepMoolenaar released the following statement:

[Select Committee on China @ChinaSelect]

The Coast Guard has ordered an immediate review of Chinese state-owned COSCO vessels’ eligibility for a program that reduces port inspections, @Politico reports. This action comes after Chairman @RepMoolenaar, @RepRickCrawford, and @RepCarlos sent a letter to @DHSGov raising these concerns.

Granting a Chinese military company fewer inspections at American ports should not be allowed. Thank you @DHSGov for taking action.

The Select Committee on China is committed to holding the CCP accountable for its efforts to intimidate, coerce, and wrongfully detain Americans.
Visit the Select Committee’s YouTube channel to watch how the CCP uses wrongful detention as political leverage and employs other tactics to carry out its campaign of transnational repression.

[Select Committee on China @ChinaSelect]

Following the wrongful detention of U.S. citizens Youlin Chen and Min Zin, the @StateDept is raising the risk level for wrongful detention in its travel advisory for China.
This is a serious warning to all Americans. The CCP has demonstrated that it will use arbitrary detention and exit bans to target Americans in China.
Chairman @RepMoolenaar has repeatedly called for the release of Youlin Chen and Min Zin and remains committed to securing the freedom of Americans wrongfully detained by the CCP. https://t.co/TTfwPABc8h

China-linked scam syndicates are stealing Americans' retirement and life savings while corrupting foreign governments to shield their operations from law enforcement. Chairman @RepMoolenaar’s bipartisan Dismantle Foreign Scam Syndicates Act would dismantle these transnational criminal networks and protect Americans from CCP-backed exploitation.

[Select Committee on China @ChinaSelect]

Wanying "Heather" Zhang has been charged for operating as an unregistered Chinese foreign agent. This @CBSNews investigation reveals links between Zhang and an alleged Cambodian criminal organization accused of using forced labor to run multibillion-dollar scams targeting Americans.

Earlier this year, a Select Committee investigation titled "Crime, Corruption, and Power: CCP-Linked Transnational Crime and the Rise of a Distributed Threat to U.S. National Security," exposed how these China-linked networks concentrated in southeast Asia, fuel human trafficking, cybercrime, and billions in annual losses for Americans.

These scam centers are stealing from Americans, undermine U.S. partners, and expand the CCP’s influence in a strategically critical region. https://t.co/uS1ybJByL7

[Select Committee on China @ChinaSelect]

Iran was behind the plot that targeted U.S. military assets in the UK last month. Iran is backed by China and the CCP is always working to help the regime in Tehran work against us. China buys Iranian oil and it has been linked to the satellite imagery that was used in an Iranian strike that killed three American troops. https://t.co/mpisCiTFby

[William Evanina @BillEvanina]

Transparency is critical. I really hope this release helps universities and research institutions advance security programs and efforts to prevent China from stealing basically anything it can. Eyes wide open. @ChinaSelect

President Trump has made clear that America must WIN the AI race. That means strengthening export controls to keep advanced AI chips out of the hands of the CCP.

Unfettered access to American AI technology risks accelerating China’s military capabilities and expanding its surveillance and repression. We cannot fuel the CCP’s rise at the expense of our national security.
