Pleased to meet @WorldBank President Banga in my first meeting as Minister for International Development.
The World Bank is one of the UK’s most important partners for delivering growth and jobs, tackling conflict and irregular migration.
Pleased to see @WorldBank and @ADB_HQ taking steps to work more closely together to deliver infrastructure projects.
This will reduce bureaucracy, increase speed, and save costs – modernising the delivery of development finance and strengthening the global economy.
