Bez ładu i składu. Kto tam siedzi na wiejskiej...?!?!😂 😂 😂
Incidentally, I first found myself in Poland in 2015.
I accidentally entered the country without a travel document, carrying only a residence permit from another country, and I was detained by border guards.
I was simply astonished because, first of all, they treated me in an absolutely human way.
I slept in a cell, and after that they drove me to the bus station and said, “There will be a bus in the evening, and until then you can walk around.”
And I started walking around that Polish town. I was simply amazed.
The thing is that in the early 1990s, when I was still living in Kyiv, we had an image of Poland as a country with some kind of chaotic marketplace where low-quality clothes were made.
For some reason, that was the stereotype.
And the attitude toward Poles themselves was rather dismissive.
But then, already more than ten years ago, in 2015, I was walking around this town-a very small town, I should note, not Warsaw- and I saw a quantum leap forward.
Virtually everything I saw, from chocolate to ballpoint pens, was made in Poland.
I saw cleanliness and order.
I saw neat parks, beautiful buildings, and well-groomed people.
I repeat, this was just some small border town.
Everything was extremely clean, tidy, and very civilized.
Back then I recorded a video about that trip in which I spoke about my positive impressions.
Later, my wife traveled to Warsaw for a conference, and she was also amazed.
That must have been around 2018.
She told me about her impressions and did not hide her admiration. And yet, she and I have visited every country in Europe and have lived in many of them.
I am convinced that Poland will eventually surpass Germany, which for a long time was considered the locomotive of Europe.
And I am very sorry that I cannot visit Poland because I am simply afraid.
Poland may detain me in order to please Kyiv.
Kyiv gave me a 15-year sentence for criticizing President Zelensky and claimed that I am a Kremlin agent. That is convenient. A Kremlin agent is anyone who criticizes him.
Although, unlike the Ukrainian president, I never had a business in Russia, and I have only been there twice.
The first time was to visit the Bolshoi Theatre, and the second time was to show my child, who grew up in Spain, real snow and an ice-skating rink.
If you removed this political component, which is tied to what I see as unusual friendly relations with Kyiv (which, in my opinion, has never truly been Poland’s friend), Poland would be a country about which not only I, but millions of other people, could say: “Yes, I would like to live there.”
It is a great country that has shown how it is possible to make a major leap forward in a relatively short period of time.
And when this perceived friendship with the current authorities in Kyiv finally comes to an end, it will be better for Poland.
For Poland, which has earned the right to be one of the leading countries in Europe.
That is my opinion✌️🇵🇱
