The #LondonEye is to be a permanent feature on the London skyline. Hard to imagine that such an iconic feature could have disappeared. Proud to have been part of the team securing its long-term future. Over the past year we've worked out its contribution to the London economy!
24 eyeconic years and beyond 🎉
We are delighted to announce that Lambeth council voted unanimously for the London Eye to be a permanent feature of the London skyline.
Built to celebrate the millennium, we’re excited to continue taking guests on a journey across the capital.
@SouthernHsg_UK I’ve responded privately. I’m sure you see the irony… took less than 10 minutes to get a response via Twitter but more than a week (and counting) to get a response via email. That should explain the frustration…
I tried to contact @SouthernHsg_UK about something important via email. Got an automated email but still no response over a week later. This is rubbish service and now I truly believe that shared ownership is a scam
Hey @TfL what’s the rationale for not using the Woolwich Ferry car park when cars star piling up and going all the way up Church Street, causing congestion and increased air pollution?
@DaleVince - this surely is a candidate for Right Wing Nut of the week? It's so out of character for Reform UK to back such a sensible proposal? https://t.co/RLnwVOYUAa
Hey @TfL, just tried to stop fare dodger going out using my tap, and bloke at gate just stood there doing nothing… why bother paying if staff do nothing?
Hey @Se_Railway, why is the heating on the 07:54 train from WoolwichDockyard to London Cannon Street turned on? There’s a big ball of fire burning in the sky which is making it quite warm… #ItsBeenAWhile
Politics has no place in religion. I say this as someone coming from a country where growing up 99% of the population was Catholic and which has in the past seen the boundary between church and politics blurred, hurting many people in the process https://t.co/km7bp5qKu6
My son thinks white wind turbines (in this case offshore) are boring, and wants to know why we don't have turbines coloured like flowers. He also thinks they should have more blades to create more energy ... Any thoughts, @DaleVince?
@Royal_Greenwich@MrOkereke Hopefully the residents of Mast Quay (including residents of phase 1 too) will see some of the benefit of that £7.8 million?

Thank you @paddingtonbear for being part of our New Year Fireworks! ❤️🎉✨️

I did Jury Service last year. While I can't speak about the case, it felt that it was a waste of time. I'm sure there was more (other related cases which we weren't aware of), but at times it felt as if we were going through "the motions" ... https://t.co/z31PTHCfNK
FYI - I only did second one using an older email address because I had an automated email saying that the first transaction didn't go through (and no money was taken out at the time ...)
@picturehouses Somehow I have 2 annual subscriptions with 2 different email addresses. Who is it best to contact to fix this please? I only need 1 subscription ...
I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you for your contributions, no matter how small you may believe they are. Your support means the world to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
