EndSARS was something else.
People dug up Tinubu’s personal number and made it public. Young people organised, mobilised, sent out ambulances, arranged legal aid, raised funds, and looked out for strangers.
We built our own systems, and made things work.
we experienced what power looked like outside the control of the political establishment.
We were young, angry, organised, and audacious.
It was glorious.
The easiest way to know that someone genuinely loves you is if they feed you.
Someone who is genuinely interested in you will buy you food, order food for you, take you out to eat, and, more importantly, cook for you.
This is why it is so easy to add weight when you are being loved correctly. 😂
“Baby, have you eaten?”
“Babe, what would you like to eat?”
“My princess, should I order that jollof pasta and turkey for you?”
“Baby, what should I cook for you?”
“Babe, I’m making fried rice and peppered chicken. Keep your line active; the rider will call you when I’m done.”
“Baby, let’s try that new restaurant I sent you on IG.”
To love is to feed and to be fed. Anyone who isn’t making sure you eat doesn’t love you. They are just lying to you.
They bamboozle you with macroeconomic jargon while these are the realities on ground.
In 2024/25, Nigeria recorded more deaths as a result of insecurity than Ukraine recorded as a result of war.
They use the Joseph Goebbels propaganda template on you while your brothers and sisters are kidnapped, raped, and killed in thousands daily.
APC has to go so that NDC can usher in Obi/Kwankwaso to clean up the mess.
Vote NDC. Vote Obi/Kwankwaso for freedom, peace, and unity.
Vote Obi/Kwankwaso to build a nation where peace and justice shall reign.
Vote NDC so that Nigeria will be OK ✌🏾
ENDSARS LEKKI TOLL GATE: NEVER FORGET OCTOBER 20, 2020
Today, October 20, 2026, marks the sixth anniversary of the Lekki Toll Gate shootings, a painful reminder of the price Nigerian youths paid in their demand for a better country.
On that fateful night, peaceful #EndSARS protesters were met with gunfire. Lives were lost, many were injured, and the nation was left with questions about justice, accountability, and the sanctity of human life.
We must never forget. We must never normalise injustice.
As we remember the victims, I reaffirm my belief that a New Nigeria is possible—a country where citizens are protected, not brutalised; where young people are heard, not silenced; and where government power is exercised with responsibility and respect for human rights.
Nigeria must become a nation where no citizen is punished for demanding good governance and a better future.
May the souls of the departed continue to rest in peace. May their sacrifice strengthen our resolve to build a Nigeria where this tragedy will never be repeated.
A New Nigeria is POssible. A Nigeria where every life matters. -PO
