This is the "Great Reading Room" in Bizzell Memorial Library at the University of Oklahoma, where I earned my undergraduate degree. The bookcases along the sides of the room are filled with printed and bound copies of the dissertations of the university's PhD students. It's an extremely impressive room to walk through. It's an inspiring room and I tried studying there a few times, but it turns out I'm much more of a "hidden corner of the stacks" sort of person.
Construction on the original part of Bizzell Memorial Library began in 1927 and was completed in 1929. One major addition was added in 1958 and a more recent expansive addition in 1982.
