Happy publication day to Jenna Warren’s The Hometown Bookshop! This lovely summer read features a cosy bookshop, a quirky theatre group, heart-melting romance and a tight-knit community – what more could you want?
Now available in all good book shops!
Local author Sue Hutchinson will be at Book Corner on Saturday 29th November, 11am - 1pm, signing her two children's books featuring her Miniature Schnauzer, Bertie. The books are packed with colourful illustrations, and would make lovely gifts for children aged 2-5.
I'm looking forward to appearing at the first Whitby Lit Fest, on a Romance Panel with fellow authors Rowan Coleman and Jess Kitching.
Our event is on Friday 7th November, 12pm at The Whitby Mission & Seafarers Centre. Please come along! https://t.co/mf98BWhFUD

If anyone is anywhere near @Hatchards Piccadilly, it looks like they have lots of copies of my new book, THE HOMETOWN BOOKSHOP. I'm over the moon to see them stocking it!
Thank you to Guisborough Bookshop and @BookCornerShop for hosting me on Sat. And a huge thank you to all the brave souls who ventured out in torrential rain. It was lovely to chat with you, I hope you enjoy my slices of Greek sunshine with secrets.

For 6+ years, I’ve been working on a novel set among the flapping community of County Durham. I’m over the moon to share that it will be published by the JM Originals imprint of @johnmurrays on 2nd July 2026!
You can read the opening on pp.32-33 here:

I have a new novel out this August!
#TheHometownBookshop features a grumpy (or is he?) bookseller, an actress, amateur dramatics, a fantasy fandom taking over a library, and a bookshop with a serious storage problem.
Please pre-order it from your favourite bookshop.
