COVID-19 UPDATE:

As many of you will know, Book Refuge was forced to take a bit of a hiatus during lockdown to ensure the safety and wellbeing of everyone we work with. However, we are now looking at ways to start operating again. Here’s how you could get involved 👇🏽

💵 Are you able to cover costs for a delivery of books to a homeless shelter?

With less people feeling safe doing deliveries, we rely on delivery services - which cost money (and we have none of that). Please let us know if you are in a position to cover costs for a delivery.

🚚 Could you help with delivering books?

One of our biggest challenges is getting books delivered to homeless shelters and hostels with zero budget. We rely entirely on volunteers, so if you feel comfortable picking up a box of books and delivering it, do get in touch.
