Good morning, friends! 🌄
It’s Sunday, which means I can allow myself to work from home instead of going to the farm🤣🤣
I spent last night working on a very interesting new toy as well 👨💻+🛠️
I haven’t done this kind of work for several years, so I had to refresh my memory and remember some of the tricks of working with CNC equipment.
But I’ve already started engraving the first designs, and very soon I’ll move on to making the first product samples.
I think it’s turning out pretty well so far😅
And as for the atmosphere at home… I’ll let you judge that for yourself💚🫂
Jus printed MMU3 community edition (by @PrusaGuy) parts from PRUSAMENT PETG JetBlack... they are just perfect. It's just my feeling, but if you tune the belts just right, VFAs are really close to zero. I wonder if I really need the Gen2 upgrade on my COREOne at all... (Yes, I am lazy to install the new belts).
Going into the Outer Banks weekend. Fishing north of Hatteras has included a few red drum, spot, sand perch, small speckled trout, croaker and black drum. #obx#obxfishing#outerbanks#outerbanksfishing
🚨 CAD TO REAL JACK, 6KG LIFTED WITH PLASTIC
Digital: brown rack + yellow pinion + blue spring pawl. Real: purple/orange 3D-print, lever down = rack up one notch, pawl slips in to hold load ⚙️
Rack-pinion = 3-6mm per stroke, smooth controlled lift with no hydraulics, same positive-lock rail crews & space deployables use. Functional print, not a toy
I’m so frustrated… after about 500 hours of print time, my 3D printer just decided that around 3pm today it’s just giving up printing well anymore.
Mid print… everything is a mess.
I’ve got gemini gaslighting me it’s a bunch of different things…
