Late last year, we launched @Bookishmateapp, a platform for university students to connect and network. We believed in it deeply. But the launch flopped.

Some users signed up. They looked around… and left. No real engagement. No community. 🧵

[Abu @abuqassim01]

We did a broad launch for Bookishmate last year and it flopped. Our mistake was trying to scale before building a strong, small community. Lesson learned: start with atomic networks. Depth before breadth. One network at a time.

What's your nickname in the university?
