@politico What's notable about this story is what it doesn't say. That Mahan is stuck at 3%. How much money Mahan has raised already. How much money Mahan & supporters have spent already. Politico is blocking for Mahan. No wonder Team Mahan exclusived the Jaye firing story to them.

@politico It's a sad commentary from Mahan supporters that the only argument they can make for him continuing is: "We haven't spent all the money yet!" His patchy record in SJ never justified a governor run, this was always wishful thinking candidacy.
