Everyone’s bracing for AI to take their job. The data is saying the opposite.

Firms that went heavy on AI grew headcount ~10% in the two years after. Entry-level roles grew 12%, the exact jobs everyone said would vanish first. The firms that sat it out? Flat.

This is the Jevons paradox at work. Make something more productive and you don’t use less of it, you use more.

Efficiency doesn’t shrink the pie, it grows it, and someone has to work the new surface area.

The doom is a vibe. The hiring is in the numbers.
