@faustocoppi60 Pogi seemed to hold his attack a long time for DT. He kept checking over his shoulder. The announcers interpreted it as weakness, but IMO he was making sure DT was in a good position for the attack.
@Tratnikstan I thought he got himself to where he didn’t have an attack in him, but couldn’t safely let up either, so pushing and dropping some of the challengers was his only play.
@LucGrefte Pogi has the lead. If nothing happens, he wins. And at any rate my point was the 2nd Jonas slows, Pogi blows by, and Jonas has all the more catching up to do.
@BenjiNaesen Meh. They expected UAE to attack earlier. Once Kuss dropped he was kind of stuck in a position where he couldn’t effectively attack, but couldn’t safely drop back. He did his best to break up the people chasing him, but not much to do about Pogi.
@faustocoppi60 Nah. He had a bit of gritted teeth for the final push, but no suffering. He held his attack til late in the climb for Del Toro, who was looking kinda iffy in the middle of the climb.
@dccommonsense Yeah. It’s a problem that #1 wants to abdicate, #2 wants to dictate, and #3 wants #1 to dictate, except that they right to veto some stuff.
@Dejisco29 Ramsey doesn’t help much here. Besides the student debt they’re likely in an expensive city with big mortgage, big childcare, and something else (hobby, credit card etc). This isn’t ideal, but giving money for a specific purpose isn’t unreasonable.
@japan_nobunaga You don’t really need a lot. Just let them drive around a field. And at any rate by 12 they’ll have driven go-karts, golf carts, maybe tractors or four wheelers, so it’s not a big step to a car.
@aaron_renn It’s not a vote though. The 100 people had a right to have their objections heard and considered, and they were. If the content of their objections wasn’t convincing, the number doesn’t matter.
@septimus8@cljack I don’t think it’s supposed to be democratic (though perhaps some think it looks that way) The objectors have the right to be heard, and evaluated by the board, which they were. Success.
@5nascargirl@atrupar If you can’t even contradict him when he’s not around, what are you going to do when he tells you to your face he’s certain that we should invade Canada?
