@johnsaponaro David Stearns didn’t ruin the Mets, he exposed the real issue: constant FO turnover built a Frankenstein roster of old draft picks & bad contracts.
Only way out: Total rebuild. Keep Soto, shop the rest. I'm not defending Stearns, but firing him just restarts the cycle.

So it’s not his team, cohen wanted him to clear books and build young, that’s what he’s doing, just not working in short term way they hoped.
