@handleremoved@Ericbn09 Why would you throw out Discounts like hot bagels? Either your product is worth what it’s worth – or you are overpricing it.
What’s your strategy behind that idea?
(besides maybe that the same feature is available on ProductHunt…)

The problem isn’t “too many emails.”
It’s that when someone sees your name in their inbox… nothing clicks. No spark. No trust. No reason to care.
Your “from” name is doing more work than you think. It’s the first impression every time you send.
Here’s how it hits:
“TheXYZStore” → sounds like a robot.
“Team XYZ” → meh. Corporate.
“[FirstName] from XYZ” → now we’re getting somewhere. Feels like a person.
Want to make it work even harder?
→ After someone signs up, tell them who they’ll hear from and why.
Something simple like:
“You’ll be getting emails from Alex — he runs retention here and makes sure you get the good stuff.”
Suddenly, you’re not a store. You’re a person.
And your emails? They feel like conversations, not campaigns.
Open rates go up. Loyalty follows.
No subject line change required.
