@MyElectricAdv @RogersForTexas The state Legislature in 2019 set the basic student allotment for public schools at $6,160 per student and has not since amended the amount, which is specified in Chapter 48 of the Texas Education Code.

@JohnKrinjakFOX7 @quorumreport @scottbraddock @fox7austin There are ONLY 13 cities in the ENTIRE STATE with Accredited Private Schools that serve students with disabilities through SpEd, 46 schools total.

The schools wouldn’t even have space for students with disabilities if only 1% vouchers were awarded to them.
