#txlege School districts are untouchable. Tax payers fund their lawyers and their shenanigans. Talk to families dealing w/ #txsped. When #txed districts committed Medicaid fraud, it was business as usual. In the private sector, Medicaid fraud is a one way ticket to prison.

Option 1: spend $1,100,000 of your taxpayer’s dollars on court fees to continue your SPED malpractice. Option 2: give the families of SPED students the right to walk away with a less than proportionate share of their funding and figure out their own solutions. @BethNetherland

@leo3linbeck 1/ I can’t tell you how many TX special needs groups I follow on social media where parents are asking for private school recommendations. Some want tips on how to homeschool w/ the help of private tutors & edu-therapists. It’s a pretty resourceful group. #TXed #TXsped #TXlege

Does that extra money enrich central office administrators & district lawyers? #TXsped is a travesty.
