i have to wear a mask in public because my immune system is shit and someone at home depot passed me and said “masks don’t work” and i need to know if i should’ve just started coughing on them? or can i yell i’m in chemo? or like? what do i say to that?
@theErdTirdMans@teradonnn i know. i’m definitely much more fitting into the libertarian party than gop but i grew up my whole life being gop so it’s disappointing to see it like this
@teradonnn yeah. it’s the only thing keeping me sane that established politicans have been like, uh, no. no that’s too far. no we want decency back. no we aren’t going to die on this hill. even if they don’t actually care it just feels like okay maybe we’ve stepped back from the ledge a bit
listen i’ve stayed in those hotels and i still strip my bed and pile my bathroom linens together at the end of the stay to make it easier on the cleaning staff. i also leave a tip. but i don’t expect to be hit with like a $200 cleaning fee on top of that in addition to the price of staying there. i think a lot of people have been complaining about the cleaning and cleaning fee tbh

@AskarAtrak@AkadeBemsen a friend’s mother died when they were on vacation and the hotel wiped the cost entirely. but the counterargument is that hotels are booming businesses which can take a punch like that.
I cannot stop thinking about how in ancient times, EVERY culture loved women and viewed them as magical portals to the human world. Mothers were the original leaders, received offerings, and were worshipped as life-giving goddesses. What the hell happened to that way of thinking?
@CollinMcrockin@KrissaKray brother i have had more trauma in my pinky finger than the average person’s entire life and adhd is a suffering disorder at a nonzero amount. it just depends on the severity and the coping mechanisms. it’s not inherently a suffering disorder but man the hole is deep
