@mamiller21 Do you believe if the author had intended to make the book a full circle ending it would have enhanced the novel, or lessened your intent to search for a sequel?
Overall, Alex Approximately had the very “cliche” storyline that most romantic fiction novels have, just with a very modern take. It concluded a full circle ending, but in particular I was not an overall fan of the writing technique and maturity the author had chosen. #apread19
The author has chosen a very interesting way to execute the story, choosing to display Baily's life in two ways ( online as mink, and in the flesh). I find it funny how relatable this novel is; portraying the very way technology revolves in aiding social relationships. #apread19
As I continue to read, the goal of the beginning of the chapter seems unimportant, but I predict this piece of information will most definitely arise to cause conflict in the chapters to come. Bailey's goal to meet Alex has now shifted to falling for Porter Roth. #apread19
While following along with this book, the main focus on the story has shifted in a completely different direction. I was not expecting it but find it a bold and needed writing strategy to keep the reader hooked. #apread
I am currently reading Alex Approximately by Jenn Bennett. Already, from the first few chapters of this book, the author introduces a tunnel of internal conflict from the main character, Bailey Rydell. I begin to question the author's purpose for doing this so early on #apread19
