Besides @luluramadan and I, this investigation has had a huge team of support. We combed through more than 17,000 pages of records from 45 school districts, 3 police departments and the state education department https://t.co/NDdEdtMGtD
My 105-year-old grandmother, who is vaxxed and boosted, tested positive for Covid yesterday. Her doctor referred her to @hoaghealth in CA yesterday for monoclonal antibodies. After waiting for hours in an unheated outdoor tent she was denied treatment *because* she was vaccinated
To all the teachers and school counselors out there—thank you for everything you do. The love and support you give to your students day in and day out could not be more important, especially in times like these. I’m proud to join @ReachHigher and @CFPExtraYard in celebrating you!

$10,000 is apparently magic number. Another Puget Sound area hospital offered a “special-invitation only” vaccine clinic to its major donors & board members. A 3rd invited board members to a “soft launch” clinic. w/ @sydbrownstone @evanbush https://t.co/obtqRGMF2O
Thank you for following along with us this morning! We’re not out of this pandemic yet, but as we heard from some of our students, we’re in this together.

What’s striking is how MUCH unlimited equipment, gear, artillery, vehicles the police departments across this nation have.
Yet health care workers are forced to scrounge for PPE and using garbage bags to protect themselves from a deadly virus.
Like so many of you, I’m pained by these recent tragedies. And I’m exhausted by a heartbreak that never seems to stop. Right now it’s George, Breonna, and Ahmaud. Before that it was Eric, Sandra, and Michael. It just goes on, and on, and on.
