@charliclement_ Had a colleague who used to proudly state they hadn’t had a day off sick in 20+ years, a week after ¾ of the team (8 people) were off with a bug that he’d brought to work. Company had to rewrite the policy to stop it happening again!

@matthewhowe69 @AndyGoode10 The Tory policy was to increase the age you could buy tobacco so that anyone born before 2007 (I think was the year) wouldn’t be old enough to smoke. They never planned on banning smoking in outside areas.

@davidflatman No skin in game. However, the policy smacks of “politics of envy” & the only losers here are children. A basic principle of our tax system is that children aren’t taxed, it’s their education, not their parents so to me shouldn’t be taxed. Or do we means test VAT on kids clothes?
