Not very efficient for non-nuclear payloads, but sometimes the point is not efficiency. You don't need to shoot it down whilst it traverses space. They also do not split into multiple munitions until reentry. Launch and pre-terminal travel that are a single ballistic that travels a predicable path. Literally why we use satellites to spot the gigantic launch systems and have space-based infrared sensors detect these launches instantly. For the Oreshnik, the US military currently has roughly 11 to 15 minutes from the moment of launch to detect, track, fire, and achieve kinetic collision. Israel's Arrow 3 is frankly the best tech, but their window is like 6-9 minutes so. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Russia is the #1 refined and #2 crude supplier to Israel. Russia WAS by far #1 to Germany (now Norway bc Nord attack) As soon as anyone buys Russian oil it's no longer Russian oil. The U.S. doesn't give a DAMN. Europe, on the other hand, can't see past lunchtime on any given day, and China won't even pay Russia 1/5th of the already discounted rate. They also buy oil from US, and they pay us full price, current market value. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Specifically, crossing the nuclear threshold at any point would result in immediate cessation of diplomatic and economic relations and any means necessary to supress Russian nuclear escalation or deployment. Not the first time but most recently July 11th. They also claim they're training Russian military at the behest of Putin, while the Kremlin maintains the opposite is true. China's like that though, on a regular basis. Historically it's more performative than practical.
