Malaysia did at least one good thing. It expelled Singapore and made it an independent country against the wishes of Singapore's leadership (that is, the same arrogant and corrupt Lee Kuan Yew who is naively presented as the father of Singaporean wealth). Of course, having little or no low-productivity agriculture, along with sitting on the world's most important sea route and being mostly Chinese, made everything else almost preprogrammed, be it Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei, or Shanghai.

Of course. All people are racists, including you and me. People are incapable to unsee the racial parameters of others, just like they cannot fail to notice the sex of other people they encounter. There is not a single human being on this planet who is NOT aware of Bill Clinton’s, Barak Obama’s or Donald Teymp’s racial parameters, although very few know and care about their religious affiliation. In other words, many of us are already religion-neutral (religion-indifferent), and none color-neutral.

You don't have to. The USAID was not providing direct assistance, it was merely an intermediary between the US federal budget and various organizations, both government and non-government ones, and these organisations were supposed to deliver results. You could contribute to any of them, or you (or anyone) could set up an umbrella private fund to mirror and replicate the USAID recipient structure.

Actually, Bill Clinton did in fact reduce welfare spending in 1996, although under a heavy Congress pressure. This episode demonstrated that most meaningful reforms can be carried out by those who politically were committed to the opposing ideals, because they would be more immune to the critics from their own electorate.

There was no "demise" of the Habsburg empire; it was technologically and bureaucratically quite advanced and definitely no less advanced than neighboring Serbia, Romania, and Bulgaria. They pretty much love themselves and their children.
