Many parallels to Indigenous cultures throughout the world. Living off the land meant adapting, creating, and zero waste.

@DSRGenealogist My grandmother spoke 5 languages: Dene, Cree, English, French, and Michif. Due to her linguistic skills she was hired as an interpreter, by a TB nurse who traveled in Canada’s subarctic helping and gathering data on TB’s spread and deaths in Native people.
