@Iltimas581667@JackofBlades22 Yeah, I’ve heard the same. People often realize the value of a gem only after it’s gone. He doesn’t use social media and actually discourages video recording, which is why some people end up criticizing him arrogantly for political reasons without knowing the full picture.
There are problematic Qawmi figures, but Mufti Abdul Malek (Hafi) isn’t one. Those who don’t hear his sermons often misrepresent him. He addresses these issues without seeking limelight. Condemning a good scholar for not aligning politically with you is wrong.
@IbnalIskandar I think you’ve seen the guy who posts things like “is it permissible to have e-sex?” or “how can someone make another person’s girlfriend a concubine?” He tends to present conclusions on such rulings without the necessary qualifications or context.
I didn’t expect this response from such a small account. Alhamdulillah, it reached many people.
Beneficial threads often get overlooked amid AI slop and Fiqh Bait nowadays. This needs to change. I’ll be sharing another important thread in the replies. Jazakallahu khairan!
A Bengali scholar once sat in the crowd at a Hajj sermon in Makkah. The Khatib, one of the Imams of the Haram, attributed a Hadith to the wrong book.
He stood up and corrected him. In front of everyone🧵
Issues of Ummah #1:
Watching brothers (and sisters) fight over political ideologies, political parties, creed, nation, ethnicity, being jealous over materialistic things- is disappointing. May Allah guide us all.
@JackofBlades22 Mufti Malek talked against women commission long before him ,LOL.Ig you haven't heard it. So what? Is the Amir another useful puppet like him??
@JackofBlades22 Why skip the 2nd part? What's stopping JI? I hate what the Abbasi-Babunagari group does and don't support them either. But Mufti Malek does speak on these issues, directly or indirectly. He criticized the "anti-Sahaba" party without naming JI, yet JI got hurt for no reason.
@JackofBlades22 Hamza can't speak because he'll be jailed, but Mufti Malek can say whatever he wants? LMAO.
What's stopping JI from demanding anti-LGBTQ/adultery laws or holding anti-woke rallies? Are they a "puppet" opposition party, or just scared of foreign embassies?
@JackofBlades22 He's spoken repeatedly against secular laws and recently commented on the property law too. He hasn't endorsed BNP either. JI calls itself an Islamic party, yet often does non-Islamic things maybe that's where his grudge comes from. Why doesn't Amir Hamza speak as freely as him?
@JackofBlades22 What makes him a “shorkari” hujur? Is his responsibility now to keep track of who went where and then give news update at Baitul Mukarram? A naseehah is general and applicable to everyone. The JI amir is the least brave when it comes to such matters, then.
@Shalutuk Classic red herring. You wouldn’t expect a medical expert to contribute to rocket science. He specialized in Hadith and theology and excelled in his field. Not every scholar’s contribution has to be in science or technology to have value.

@Azmatul51794319 That guy doesn't even dare reveal his credentials to the public-using the excuse of being 'doxxed'-and will only ask you to DM him. Yet he claims to be a faqih whom no one can match. 😆
@dmontetheno1 No need to defend it-we follow the scholarly consensus. The harm of music outweighs the benefits. There are many research papers on how music lowers critical thinking, incites hostility, triggers emotional distress, and increases radicalization.
