I wouldnโt be where I am today without the love and support that @MichelleObama has poured into me over the years. Her story โ from her South Side roots to the White House and beyond โ is a central part of the Obama Presidential Center.
Putin: NATO started the war. It wasn't Russia who started the special military operation.
His lies are getting more and more delusional.
"Russia is standing alone against the entire collective West, represented by the well-known North Atlantic bloc - NATO.
All NATO countries are intensifying their efforts and doing everything possible to organize these hostile actions against Russia and, as they believe, bring the war they unleashed against Russia to a victorious conclusion.
It was they who started this war.
It wasn't us who launched the hostilities at the beginning of the 'special military operation'."
"How do you even keep your mental health together?"
"I don't. I lost it a long time ago. Ever since three of my closest friends and my boyfriend were killed. I was the one who recovered his body from the evacuation point."
Ukrainian Defender "Kit" ("Cat") from the Magura Brigade joined the military at the age of 24. Over four years of service, she has fought in some of the war's hottest sectors, including the defense of Donetsk region, the counteroffensive in Zaporizhzhia region, and the Kursk operation.
Kit's boyfriend died defending Ukraine in Donetsk region while carrying out a combat mission.
"One evening, he brought me the wounded and the fallen from the positions, and the very next evening, he was the one being recovered..."
Today, Kit is defending the Sumy region.

A Russian MP harshly criticized the Kremlin:
The country is at a brink of a social explosion, and all responsibility for that will fall on the unchanging authorities, a Communist MP Markhaev wrote.
He said that there were no reforms in the 35 years of Putin's rule, and Russia's degradation is obvious.
Below is his full post:
"Dear fellow citizens!
Against the backdrop of ongoing attacks by Ukrainian formations on our cities, the authorities recently held the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. On the opening day of the forum, the St. Petersburg oil terminal - one of the largest on the Baltic - was attacked. Yet the arguments that had previously led to the cancellation of the Victory Parade on May 9 were not deemed sufficient to cancel the forum. It appears that the main purpose of such events is to demonstrate illusory well-being, behind which there are no visible real achievements other than the personal enrichment of the elites.
Over the past years, numerous development programs and strategies have been drafted in Russia across all sectors of the economy. However, virtually none of them have been implemented - they have remained on paper and in declarations delivered from international rostrums. Instead of real action, we continue to face new prohibitions, restrictions, and a growing financial burden.
One of the most acute problems is the housing and communal services sector, which has effectively become an instrument for extracting money from the population. Over the past 25 years, tariffs have risen by 366%. Officials justify this with false arguments while covering up their own inaction. A pensioner receiving a pension of 22,000 rubles is forced to pay 12,000 rubles for utilities. The infrastructure inherited from the Soviet Union is deteriorating, while funds are not directed toward repairing networks but toward yachts, palaces, and foreign assets. Direct presidential orders to curb tariff growth are not being fulfilled โ according to various estimates, up to 99% of such decrees remain nothing more than words.
Meanwhile, the pockets of government officials and affiliated elites remain far from empty. According to Forbes data for 2026, the number of Russian billionaires reached a record 155 people, with their combined wealth totaling nearly 700 billion dollars - one and a half times the size of the federal budget. Multi-billion-dollar thefts, arrests of officials at all levels, and the seizure of assets worth one trillion rubles per year - this is the real picture. This course was largely inherited from the 1990s, when the country experienced the large-scale plunder of state property.
What would an external enemy do upon capturing Russia? They would seize resources, plunder industry, sharply raise tariffs, and build mansions for themselves. But no invasion took place - the authorities accomplished this themselves, and more effectively than any aggressor. In 35 years, not a single successful reform has been carried out, while oligarchs continue to multiply and grow richer - and this is already in the fifth year of the special military operation.
Addressing the topic of the special military operation (SMO), which I have long avoided, I must state the following: corruption scandals are accompanied by ongoing losses among the most active and reproductive segment of the population due to ineffective leadership. Attacks on our cities continue and are expanding geographically. The West is increasing drone supplies, and we are forced to endure it. Officials from the Presidential Administration are already stating that the goals of denazification and demilitarization of Ukraine have effectively been reduced to acquiring new territories rather than the entire country.
If this situation continues, a social explosion and chaos will become increasingly likely. The West will inevitably exploit this to finish off what remains of Russian statehood. For a quarter of a century, the political system has been led by the same team, which appears to have largely lost touch with the needs of the people. Modern Russia has existed for half as long as the Soviet Union, yet only oligarchs and their inner circle - less than 5% of the population - can claim any real development.
I call on the ruling authorities to come to their senses!
We demand an end to the unjustified growth of housing and communal services tariffs and the restoration of a fair pricing system. Real accountability must be established for officials who fail to implement laws and direct presidential orders. We need a clear, public plan for concluding the SMO based on Russiaโs national interests. We demand an end to the practice of ostentatious forums that produce no real results and a focus on solving the urgent problems facing citizens.
The time of illusions is over. The country stands on the brink of a social explosion, and full responsibility for this will rest with the irremovable power.
Deputy of the State Duma
V.M. Markhaev"
With all the corruption flooding out of this administration, you may have missed this one.
The Trump DOJ just killed a criminal investigation into the coal empire owned by Senator Jim Justice, a Republican and one of Trumpโs closest allies.
Prosecutors and EPA investigators were probing whether his familyโs mining companies criminally violated the Clean Water Act after racking up tens of thousands of alleged pollution violations over the past decade. The arsenic and other dangerous chemicals coal mines leach into our water are exactly what these laws exist to stop.
Career prosecutors believed they had a strong case.
They had begun gathering evidence and issuing subpoenas. Then the Deputy Attorney Generalโs office, run at the time by Todd Blanche, told them โpencils down.โ A former prosecutor of 24 years said he had never heard of a criminal probe being shut down like this. There should be no untouchables list.
This is the pattern, plain as day.
Go after the Presidentโs enemies, protect his friends. And now Trump wants to make Blanche his permanent Attorney General.
The man who shut this down should not be running the Justice Department. For this and so many other reasons, Todd Blanche must not be confirmed.

The average American understands that someone who's a potential adversary shouldn't be able to buy our farmland and agribusinesses. However, based on his own words on Fox News, President Trump seems to be fine with the Chinese Communist Party buying up our farmland.
Ukrainian strike on Mariupol port. It significantly impacts Russia's ability to use the port in Russian-occupied Mariupol and will complicate the logistics of the Russian troops.
Electrical substations, radar equipment, repair infrastructure, a control tower and tanks with fuel and lubricants were hit, as well as the sanctioned dry cargo ship "Lady Augusta", which is part of the Russian shadow fleet.
This joint operation was carried out by the 1st Corps of the Azov Naval Group, the Security Service of Ukraine, the Central Military "A" District and the Unmanned Systems Forces.

No. Remarkably, fraud only occurs in elections Republicans lose! A few Democrats have made stupid accusations too over the years, but Trump has institutionalized attacks on the integrity of the US electoral process based on his Big Lie about the 2020 election.

Ukrainian ballistic missiles will be able to reach Moscow this summer or early autumn.
Denys Shtilierman, co-founder and chief designer of Fire Point, stated that the FP-9 ballistic missile, capable of flying to Moscow at high speed and hitting its target, already has all components ready except the engine.
"I expect that this summer, or at the latest the beginning of autumn, we will start test flights to Moscow," @DenShtilierman said.
Production of the first batch of 10โ20 missiles has already started.
