There has been a lot of discussion about AI in the last couple of days in regards to a certain Mexican animator that was slated to produce an AI animated show, but later pulled out from it due to an extreme amount of backlash. I've decided to put in my 2¢ on the topic because I find it interesting.

I agree that AI "art" is a terrible thing, not only on a moral standpoint but on an environmental one as well. I believe that it's everyone's civic duty to go out and try to destroy AI in it's totality. It's not enough to bully an animator for taking a pro AI stance. I feel like we need to go to the source and do whatever it takes to destroy AI once and for all. Gatekeeping, in regards to art, is a good thing.

However, I will state that even though it may be AI, AI generated images of Amourshipping are still awesome regardless of how it was produced, AI or not. My love for Amourshipping eclipses my hatred for AI in that regard. I personally don't find it fair to dismiss an Amourshipper just because said Amourshipper uses AI to create their Amourshipping images.

On the other hand, Pokeshippers should be condemned outright as most of these disgusting Pokeshipping images that I see being produced recently are nothing but AI. It further goes to show that Pokeshippers are scum and the fact that they use AI is further proof of that.

I've included an example of an Amourshipping AI generated image as something that I still enjoy seeing personally. I still believe that AI must be destroyed, but if there were some kind of truce where AI would only be allowed to generate Amourshipping images and nothing else, I would be more than okay with that. More Amourshipping, regardless of source, is always a good thing.

However out of respect to the traditional artists that have drawn some fantastic Amourshipping art, other than this one example, I will make it a policy to never showcase AI generated Amourshipping images on my account. There is more than enough traditionally drawn Amourshipping art out there to showcase for a lifetime.
