I stood this week in the abandoned Palestinian community of al-Mu’arrajat in the Jordan Valley and cried.
A community of 600 people is gone. Homes destroyed. A school and mosque in ruins. Olive trees uprooted. Family after family driven from their land by years of settler violence and intimidation.
I thought of my great-grandparents, who fled persecution in Czarist Russia and made aliyah to Palestine in the 1880s. How can Jews who know so intimately what it means to be driven from our homes stand by while other Jews do this to another people?
Moral outrage is not enough.
Israel must enforce its own laws. If it will not, international courts must act. Those who organize, finance or facilitate forced displacement should be held accountable – sanctioned by the U.S. and other governments or brought before international justice.
If we truly care about Israel, we must confront and defeat this enterprise.

Children who were attacked by Israeli police during the demonstration in Jerusalem.
Zionists attack Jews mercilessly.
The only crime of these Jews is being against Israel and Zionism.
Israel and Zionism are the enemies of Judaism and the Jews aren't safe there.
.@realDonaldTrump Wrong again, and it's not even close.
You call it "the Golden Goose." Small towns call it higher electric bills and contaminated water while getting a fraction of the jobs promised.
Here's what you left out:
A single large data center can use up to 5 million gallons of water a day, the same as a town of 10,000 to 50,000 people.
Texas alone is projected to see data centers use nearly 400 billion gallons of water by 2030. That water doesn't come from nowhere, it comes out of the same aquifers and rivers these towns depend on to drink, farm, and survive.
Nearly 75% of Virginia voters, ground zero for America's data center boom, blame these facilities for their rising electricity bills. That's not a conspiracy theory, that's the state's own numbers.
And the jobs? Most data centers create somewhere between 50 and 200 permanent positions once they're actually running, no matter how many temporary construction jobs get promised during the pitch. For thousands of acres of land, that's the return these communities get.
Why not share a fraction of the profits with these towns instead?
Meanwhile, these are being built by the same handful of billionaire-run tech companies who could easily build on land they already own, and could easily cover the water and electricity costs for their neighbors, but don't, because nobody's making them. Because they own many of you.
You're not defending jobs. You're defending a business model where the profits go to tech-bros and the electric and water bill goes to a town of 3,000 people who never get a piece. That's the problem.
5 ways data centers endanger their local communities and the country as a whole 👇https://t.co/0K3q5Jwuv3 via @ConversationUS
@the_jefferymead@SpeakerWelchIL@MeetThePress@kwelkernbc Either you have your head in the sand Jeffrey or you are just another @realDonaldTrump sycophant. Have you been following this racist criminal's attempt to reverse all the civil rights black people finally earned in the '60s with his anti-DEI BS?
This interview hurt my soul. The mistreatment of black women and journalists by this President is down right embarrassing and unacceptable. Kristin Welker is neither crooked or stupid. She is a history making journalist who has earned the right to be respected. The President should apologize immediately.
🚨 BREAKING:
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir faced an embarrassing confrontation at the US Capitol and completely lost his temper.
"You were supposed to be in The Hague! You're a racist war criminal!"
So when you read about eight members of an NBC News Team being beaten by Israeli settlers today in the West Bank, it's important to note two things:
1. The settler wouldn't do this to Americans had they not received a green light from the Israeli gov.
2. Israel's gov would not have given such a green light unless it felt confident that the US gov - and Amb. Huckabee - wouldn't lift a finger to defend the Americans.
🚨🇺🇸 NEW: Trump's immunity has been lifted.
The US Supreme Court ruled to strip President Donald Trump of immunity in the Epstein case.
The way is now open for his prosecution. He can be impeached.
@4HumanUnity@Acyn Perhaps if Trump hadn't arrogantly demanded Canada rollback French and English duel-language regulations, part of Canadian heritage, the trade deal would be behind us.
@SecScottBessent You're the most corrupt & cruel Treasury Secretary in our Nation's history. You brag about strangling Iran economically therebye declaring war on Iranian people not the Iranian gov't causing widespread suffering of men, women, and children throughout their country. @Pontifex
@4HumanUnity@JDVance 2 of 2 Content Rules: Demanded the rollback of regulations promoting French-language and Canadian content on online streaming services.Cultural Subsidies: Objected to Canadian government subsidies supporting French-language film, publishing, and cultural industries.

Billionaires — in either party — should not be able to buy elections.
That is not democracy. That is a corrupt campaign finance system.
We need to end Citizens United. We need to get super PACs out of our elections. We need public funding of elections.
I've been having a lot of discussions with people about "Repeal the 19th Amendment." So, I figured that I would make it easy for everyone and just make a video outlining my position.
TLDR: Repeal the 19th Amendment Movement is Bullshit
Evil cannot be overcome with evil. On earth as in heaven, love is the law of life and the way of redemption, the way of the crucified Messiah. In opposition to the false realism that rearms minds, words, and nations, Catholic culture must today offer the realism of mercy, according to which there can be no enemies. Everyone, even our adversaries, is a brother or sister to be looked in the eye and encountered in truth. #PastoralVisit #Rimini
