I was honored to join @MassGovernor today and offer a statement of support as she issued statewide guidance for schools, child care providers, higher ed campuses, health care facilities and places of worship on interacting with #ICE.
JCRC CEO @BurtonJM spoke with @GlobeOpinion about the backlash facing Congressman @RepAuchincloss after he called Graham Platner’s Nazi-themed tattoo “personally disqualifying”.

Many Jewish parents are looking at college differently right now. Dr. Greg Weiner, president of Assumption University, offers a perspective few others can.

@JFederations mourn alongside the community of the Islamic Center in San Diego following today’s horrific shooting. No one should ever fear for their safety while gathering in prayer, community, or worship. Our full statement: https://t.co/DQnh3JUBnE
JCRC Bay Area is horrified and deeply saddened by the shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego. We unequivocally condemn this despicable act of violence and all acts of hate directed toward the Muslim community.
Our hearts are with the victims and their families and the entire San Diego Muslim community, as well as our Bay Area Muslim neighbors during this painful time.
This work — from advocacy at the State House, to partnerships with schools, to coalition-building across communities, to ensuring Jewish communal concerns are understood by civic leaders — is essential. And your gift helps sustain it.

Last night, our Legislative Reception brought together community leaders & elected officials to celebrate partnership, leadership, & the MA Special Commission on Combatting Antisemitism.
As @MassGovernor reflected, “You really are the light in the darkness.”
We are especially excited to see @weitzmanmuseum's Stories That Shaped a Nation curriculum — which JCRC has helped bring to educators here in Greater Boston through webinars & school partnerships — now being made available to classrooms nationwide. (3/3)
As Jewish American Heritage Month ramps up, this new resource hub, developed as a partnership between @theJCPA, @AFTunion & @weitzmanmuseum is an important example of what thoughtful education looks like. (1/3)
Educators need credible tools that help students engage with complexity, especially at a time when conversations about Jewish identity & the American Jewish experience are often polarized or oversimplified. (2/3)
This marks meaningful progress in protecting immigrant families & strengthening communities across Massachusetts. We look forward to swift reconciliation & the governor signing this bill.

Thanks to @ADL_NewEngland for your work on this audit. Even w/ an overall drop in antisemitic incidents, MA saw the highest number of K-12 incidents in the region. This data is a reminder of how important & urgent it is to implement MA's Special Commission recommendations.
BREAKING: @ADL recorded 400 antisemitic incidents in New England in 2025 — a 37% drop from 2024, but still nearly double pre-October 7 levels.

We join @theJCPA in reaffirming our commitment to an inclusive American democracy and the voting rights protections that generations of civil rights advocates fought to secure.
📢Urge Congress to pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act: https://t.co/nM18iAsrcd
By gutting the Voting Rights Act, the Court is using partisan gerrymandering to strip voters of color of rights for which many fought, bled, and died.
