@DSAEastBay@ChicagoDSA@DSA_SanDiego@DSAdenver@cltdsa https://t.co/yNRcgaEiUh As our East Bay comrades explained, while every major platform is run by billionaires, "Twitter has algorithmically suppressed" and "amplified fascists at unprecedented levels."
Itβs been a good run, but today we're joining our comrades in @DSAEastBay β along with @ChicagoDSA, @DSA_SanDiego, @DSAdenver, @cltDSA, and others β and leaving X. RIP Twitter, see you around the internet.
He stood with Cuba and against apartheid South Africa. And he did it all in the shadow of having seen his friend and mentor murdered in front of him. His loss will be deeply felt. We must recommit ourselves to carrying on his legacy and, in his words, keeping hope alive.
Boston DSA joins the rest of the country in mourning the passing of Reverend Jesse Jackson. Jackson began his career fighting for economic liberation in the Civil Rights Movement. Unlike many leaders from that era, he remained influential despite a brutal right wing backlash.
Jackson's Presidential campaigns fired back, laying out a vision of a multiracial America that inspired both his adherent Bernie Sanders and the entire democratic socialist movement. Jackson held the line on Palestine, on gay rights, on racial justice, and on economic justice.
Boston DSA hit 2,500 members on the same day National DSA hit 100,000! Being 2.5% of the largest socialist organization in American history is a unique honor and we can not wait to keep fighting for a better world with all of you (and hopefully thousands more).
We call on folks nationwide to shut down business as usual until ICE terror ends. Alex Pretti and Renee Good were executed. This follows dozens of murders in years of violence at the hands of ICE.
Minneapolis has called for another mobilization. With the looming vote on ICE funding, only keeping up the pressure can force Democrats to vote down funding for ICE.

DSA chapters all over the country, including in Minneapolis, are fighting for a better world without extrajudicial murders, tear gas and pepper spray, or neighbors stolen out of their cars. Join us. https://t.co/7TFFoBdfwB
Boston DSA members joined a rally in solidarity with Minnesota last Friday. The next morning, ICE committed another brutal murder and we mobilized again. Boston DSA will stay on the front lines until ICE is abolished, its officers are prosecuted, and our neighbors are free.
As ICE escalates its violence, unions in Minnesota have called for a general strike in MN tomorrow. In Boston, organized labor and community groups are holding a mass rally in solidarity with Minnesota. Arrive early and get Boston DSA signs/merch!

We must have a nationwide mobilization to rein in this out of control regime. We have no other choice. From Palestine to Minneapolis, people will refuse to be occupied. Minnesota is already gearing up for a Shutdown Friday. Join BDSA tonight, January 20th, 5 pm, in Copley Square.
We will be out in the streets again January 20th to mark one year of Trump's second term. We hope to see you all there and we hope to see you all on the days in between protests, doing the hard and messy and boring work of fighting for a better world.
Thousands of people attended a rally organized by Boston DSA and our coalition partners last Saturday. We heard from union leaders, local organizers, both of our elected Boston DSA co-chairs, and our newly endorsed candidate in Cambridge Evan MacKay.
There is no solution that will not be achieved without organization. These protests are a reminder that we are stronger together and we will unite to create a better world, one free from ICE terror, because of the duty we owe to each other.
Note: The Boston DSA endorsement is awarded after a deliberative procedure with multiple rounds of voting. Evan was UNANIMOUSLY endorsed at every step of the way, by hundreds of DSA members. They are one of our best and we could not be more excited to take this step with them.
Boston DSA is proud to announce our endorsement of Evan MacKay's campaign for State Rep from the 25th Middlesex District. Evan is a labor leader and committed Boston DSA chapter member who is running to bring democratic socialist values to an unaccountable State House.
Boston DSA and Evan are back and ready to fight for a just, affordable future. Boston DSA just elected two socialist champions to Cambridge City Council- now let's build on the moment and send one to Beacon Hill! Join us! https://t.co/wD0mxpOymR
