@CouncilOfSSG@wenn_idk You cannot definitely prove Ramirez knew the exact threats of What Allison said and even then that’s even more reason to not throw a punch. The encounter was purely accidental, and Allison did not want to fight on Campus. Does this mean he was right in stabbing Ramirez, no.
@CouncilOfSSG@wenn_idk Proportionally you do not stab someone in the heart for that. You’re so emotional about this case that you’re denying facts of the other. Anthony wasn’t cornered the metcalfs didn’t threaten to hurt him, nor did they previously flash a weapon at him. They shoved him
@CouncilOfSSG@wenn_idk I think both should hang but I can at least understand why Allison’s case went the way it did. I also haven’t villainized Anthony besides stating the obvious he could have left at anytime
@CouncilOfSSG@wenn_idk Death penalty just because he’s white you’re being facetious. Race only starts playing a role when people attempt to justify the killing of a white man just because a black man killed him.
@CouncilOfSSG@wenn_idk Or it could be that some cases get more coverage than others, there recently was a stray of a white couple getting butchered by a black man, and there will be stories of various murders. Most won’t go viral and if you’re arguing tough on crime rwers woudnt argue for the
@CouncilOfSSG@wenn_idk Blame the prosecution for a poor argument, the reason Allison self defense claim was given some credence is because its easier to escape a tent where all they want you to do is leave rather then a bathroom when the guy wants to fight you.
@CouncilOfSSG@wenn_idk Even if I don’t agree with it, and I don’t think there should be outrage over a different case with a different circumstance and a different altercation. I view this more as a difference in Jury and interpretation of the law rather than one of Race
@CouncilOfSSG@wenn_idk He said he would put him on life support and beat him, that does not state he wants to kill him. They intended to fight in a different location and just so happen to stumble into each other. I think the cases are different and can understand why he got Criminal negligent
@CouncilOfSSG@wenn_idk Both deserve murder actually, Stabbing someone in the chest will also always lead to death. But these are two different judges and juries and thus different rulings.
@CouncilOfSSG@wenn_idk He was also charged with murder and manslaughter, the defense didn’t work as he was still convicted of negligent homicide and his claim of self defense was partially rejected. The differences in charges can be attributed to the variance in jury’s and what they chose to implement.
@CouncilOfSSG@wenn_idk Again this is a matter of running the gauntlet with the jury or the judge, beyond that the stab wound was also not in the heart which certainly plays a part.
@Dub42k@firebornnn Yea man a stab to the chest is proportional to a shove, if he truly felt his life was in danger he could have left or reacted proportionally.
