@danluu What about "old habits die hard blindness"? I've never liked footnotes on web. Even if implemented correctly with 'jump back' links. The jump disrupts my attention, lose immediate text context.
Q: why not write footnotes directly under a paragraph using details&summary HTML tags?
@InfElePro After this incident, the German Railways added a reminder to "stay away from the edge" to their regular audio announcements at stations: https://t.co/Kd7Vf11RXT
Lieber selbst schauen &speichern
Also fuck the clown joke authorities/govs/etc that are burning lots of resources/time/etc to be able to do marketing arrests of, in lot (most?) cases, random so fucking small 🐟 that in some cases probably even a 🔍 required for seeing them.
Meanwhile if we would forget every shit Google did and/or still doing except of probably the most important part of what they "achieved" with these usury & spyware 2-in-1 apps in Play, that is the very least dozens, but today maybe even over 100 suicide cases of poor people.
How much more people need to fucking die before at least one single of those 🤡s not that would do anything about Google, but at least to start thinking of maybe Google is doing some "not absolutely fantastic thing"?
And then we could talk about the many other shits of Google, but if those deaths are not way way fucking more than enough for those 🤡s, not think anything else would...
And it's only Google. There are many other "legit companies" in the US/EU that are also full of shit.
FUCK Google & the other such/similar gangs, FUCK the authorities & the govs of US, big EU countries, etc, FUCK all these fucking clowns.
@garyedwards_e Hi, ~ge~, I lost hope of ever catching you online. A few years ago I had translated your excellent "Microsoft's Velvet Glove"...unfortunately many didn't seem to understand the point you were driving home. Yet the more time passes the more I see how right you were.
@robleathern@josephfcox 1: Create a bureaucratic problem
2: Solve it by requiring giving up & storage of personal data
3: Praise a slightly different solution to (2)
@lupesco@caitoz@AndyLeeParker1 Further, it's not censorship, you can use another internet if you don't agree. It's all private infrastructure.
(hm why do all governments regulate it though...)
