This morning, I appeared on Good Morning Britain in a live interview about the grooming gangs. Before I went on air, I was told not to mention the race of the perpetrators. I, of course, didn’t listen.
I have now received an apology from the editor.
My interview is below: 👇🏻
People still do not understand. The state won't arrest you. They won't put you in jail. They won't be a court process to challenge. It will simply lock you out of your bank account. Stop you traveling. Limit your access to the internet. Stop you getting a loan or a credit card. Imagine there is another virus released from a lab by China and the US government working in lockstep. Imagine there is another lockdown and they have a new MRNA injection you have to take. And the next booster and the next...
I’m actually a child online safety expert and was one of the pioneers in this space with Club Penguin and so I feel uniquely positioned to critique this.
The groomer problem is real but it’s also vastly overstated. The far larger issue we saw at Penguin was suicidality or reports of sexual abuse in the home.
There is no solution for lazy/bad parenting. You can implement all the ID laws you want but if parents are going to just hand kids their phones unlocked, those kids will have access to all the same things the parents have unfettered.
What I found is that these draconian safety laws actually make it harder to be an honest operator of kids apps because on one hand it’s so much legal risk and so much user friction that it simply becomes uninvestible as a business.
Parents will just lie to let their kids use the unfettered internet. For example, I have a friend who works in mobile gaming who has two kids, one above and one below the age limit but separated by just 2 yrs, and the two wanted to play and chat together on Roblox - which is reasonable. To do this, he just verified that his younger kid is old enough for the chat feature when he’s not.
This happens all the time and will happen with these laws to. How far do we want to go with this? Scan the face of the user in real-time to make sure it’s not a kid using the device? We could do that but it feels like a massive unwanted intrusion of privacy.
That’s how you know this law isn’t about kids. COPPA and GDPR-K and so forth already make it illegal to allow chat and other grooming vectors to kids.
What’s really being done here is trying to eliminate online anonymity. And this is a far bigger issue that goes to core speech rights because if you cannot criticize the govt anonymously and if wrong speech is a crime then it becomes easy to identify all the detractors of the govt in power, and ban, fine or jail them for speech crimes.
Starmer has already been doing this and he wants to do it at a much bigger scale. Starmer won’t even acknowledge the problem of actual grooming gangs in Britain’s neighborhoods but he’s worried about online grooming?
No he’s not, and this hypocrisy gives away the game. What he wants is to kill online anonymity so he can enforce censorship of his unpopular policies. No politician should have this power.

Please watch and share this video far and wide so everyone can find out who is being released back into the community. The pictures of the men are in the comments along with the original letter about releases and the new latter I got today.

The eight missed opportunities…
• Late April/early May 2023 (foster carer handover concerns): Preston’s former foster mother noted he looked “stiff and a bit blank” and worried about changes. A planned follow-up visit was cancelled by the adoptive parents (who also complained about her). She felt they were “hiding” him and expressed she “knew [she] would never see him again.” No strong escalation followed.

• Mid-May 2023 (999/111 calls and health visitor check): A 999 call was made (then abandoned), followed by a 111 call about breathing difficulties. Routine health visitor checks the next day noted no major issues raised by the parents. No further safeguarding action.
• 25 May 2023 (hospital visit – nosebleed and febrile convulsion): Preston taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital with bruising on his head. Police were informed but, after medical staff indicated no non-accidental injury concerns, the safeguarding referral was closed without deeper investigation. Explanation accepted as accidental (crawling toddler). https://t.co/g3ktfVK5pE
• 30 June 2023 (hospital visit – rash/temperature with bruising): Another hospital trip; bruising noted. Varley provided a video explanation (toybox falling on him), which was later found inconsistent with bruise timing/age. Accepted as childhood accident; no escalation.
• 4 July 2023 (social worker visit): Social worker Amy Shepherdson visited. Preston appeared pale, “not his usual self,” sad-looking, and uninterested in toys. Parents described clumsiness possibly linked to vision issues. Notes described parents as “committed but had found it hard.” No major concerns escalated. https://t.co/g3ktfVK5pE
• 6 July 2023 (hospital visit – spiral elbow fracture): Preston presented with a fractured elbow. Varley claimed he let go of his hand in the cot and it twisted. Social worker was contacted/FaceTimed. Explanation accepted as accidental.
• Around 6 July 2023 (social worker follow-up after fracture): Shepherdson visited again. Medics raised no concerns; she later testified in hindsight a review “probably should have taken place,” but none did because no red flags were formally flagged by doctors. https://t.co/g3ktfVK5pE
• Early July 2023 (colleague disclosure): Varley told a work colleague he was struggling to bond with Preston and had “dark thoughts” about harming him (e.g., smothering or drowning in the bath). No formal report or safeguarding referral appears to have followed from this conversation.
• 7 July 2023 (independent reviewing social worker visit): Helen Magee visited. She carefully observed interactions due to recent hospital admissions and noted in her records that she “pondered a little as to whether there was a problem that I couldn’t see” but “decided that there wasn’t an issue” as the family presented as affectionate and at ease. Preston died about three weeks later. https://t.co/vyYzhItysN
If you don’t think radical ideology can threaten this country, you weren’t watching the transgender movement.
In barely a decade we went from biology being a settled fact to being told gender identity overrides it, that kids can decide their own sex, and that anyone who hesitated was a bigot. It started as a fringe academic idea. Then it was in the schools, the hospitals, the boardrooms, and the government.
It didn’t take a majority. It took a small, disciplined movement that knew which buttons to push, compassion, victimhood, the fear of being called cruel. And it worked.
That’s the part to sit with. It was never about one issue. It’s proof that a determined movement can rewrite an entire society faster than anyone thinks possible. If it happened once, it can happen again.
Pay attention….
This is the one I am most proud of. Thank you. I could not have done it without you. 🇬🇧
Every story we have ever told now comes with a free lesson. Plan, sources, quiz, printable worksheet. KS2 to A-Level. Free for every child in Britain, and the world, for ever.
A generation is taught to be ashamed of this country.
This hands them the truth instead.

Today Sir Keir Starmer announced a full ban on under-16s using the major social media platforms. It will be sold to you as protecting children. Read the mechanism, and you find something else entirely.
You cannot stop one child from logging in to Instagram without establishing the age of every adult logging in. And you cannot check everyone's age without forcing every pensioner, every worker, every student to prove who they are. "Child safety" is the cheese in the mousetrap. The child is the shield. The adult is the target.
We have seen this exact identity layer before. Last September Starmer announced the BritCard, a digital ID he wanted made mandatory for the right to work. 2.7 million of us signed against it, the polling collapsed, and the government retreated. But notice what was never withdrawn: the plumbing. The GOV. One Login, the digital wallet, the whole identity scaffold, quietly kept building while our attention was allowed to wander. Now a policy arrives that cannot function without it.
This is not speculation. Phase 2 of the Online Safety Act already runs more than five million age checks a day, most of them on adults reaching for perfectly legal content. One age-verification contractor was breached and roughly 70,000 government identity documents walked out of the door. And Britain already arrests more people for what they post online than China, Russia, Belarus or Germany.
If the government were serious about children it would ban the smartphone in the school: cheap, targeted, proven. It refused, and voted the measure down. It chose instead the path that verifies the entire adult population. Ask yourself why.
The Ministry of Truth does not arrive shouting censorship. It arrives smiling, with safeguarding legislation. Papers please…

Banning social media for under 16’s is going to fail and it will lead to more government control over you.
Politicians I’ve interviewed cant even tell me how a VPN works. How can they legislate something they don’t understand?
60% of Australian teens said they still use social media after a ban, and thats the ones being honest. You can guarantee the real number is higher.
Government will respond to this failure by introducing compulsory Digital ID. Once they achieve that, they can control and lockdown social media for anyone they like.
These laws are always initially brought in under the guise of keeping children safe. But ask yourself, how often do these policies work? How often does government relinquish power when it fails and how often does it double down demanding more control to “fix the problem” they have created.
Very slippery slope.
I wake up in the hospital to this horrendous news… 😱
The road is out, the warning signs have been removed, and they keep telling us everything is okay. ⚠️🚧
