Understand Charlton Athletic are in advanced talks to sign Ireland international Millenic Alli.

Charlton currently lead the race for the winger, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Portsmouth and made his senior Ireland debut against Grenada in Murcia back in May.

A number of other Championship clubs remain interested in securing his signature, but as things stand, Charlton are the frontrunners.
