Well done to our KS1 & KS2 gymnastics club for showcasing their performance to the whole school and parents!
They performed using the benches and showed off their jumping, balancing, rolling and vaulting skills.

Well done to our KS1 & KS2 @CaspaSchools Dance Club for receiving their end of year awards!
Everyone earned either a bronze or silver award for completing different techniques and dance challenges. Lois received the teachers award and Poppy received the principals award! π
What a fantastic afternoon our year 5/6 children had on Wednesday as they all took part in the intra house rounders tournament βΎοΈ
A close final saw a playoff between Ryder and Shothanger with Ryder being crowned the champions π

A great way to round off our year of sports event with a solid win today.
Our Yr 6 children loved the @SaracensFdn @DSSN42 Tag Rugby Festival on Wednesday. Every child in Yr 6 took part and played with a smile on their face despite the hot weather.
The level of rugby from all was great and we hope many carry on playing rugby at secondary school π
This week our Yr 4 Boys football team faced @ThomasCoramPE in a thrilling end to end match.
Both teams worked hard and played great football. This makes it the end of our Yr 3&4 friendly matches for for the year with over 70 children taking part! β½οΈ

10 of our year 4 children took part in an Active Literacy Challenge at Laureate Academy this morning.
They took part in a range of physical activities to support their understanding of literacy. They had a great time and we hope to bring some of these activities back to school!

On Wednesday we had @TerryPriceScoot in to deliver a scooter assembly and workshop to the whole school. On Saturday a reception child tells his mum he wants to be like Terry and try out his local skatepark! π΄

Our year 4βs had fantastic fun filled afternoon of athletics at @WestbrookHaySch yesterday!
Children took part in hurdles, 50m sprint, 100m sprint, long jump, high jump, 600m and throwing.

He lead an assembly focussing on a positive mindset and showed the whole school some of his tricks. He even completed a backflip over Mr Robinson!
Year 5 will be taking part in workshops throughout the day!
Tonight we hosted Boxmoor in a year 5 netball development match. This was a great opportunity for our year 5βs to practice match play as for many this was their first game!
We know lots of training is needed ahead of next year but the signs are promising! Well done girls π
A great day overall for our Yr 5 football team in the @TheNLTrust tournament at @stalbanscityfc
Despite all boys playing a year up in the U11 tournament they battled hard and performed well. We didnβt make it through to the semiβs but had a great day of football β½οΈ

Our year 5 boys are on their way to @stalbanscityfc to take part in the U11 @TheNLTrust south east regional finals. We are representing @hemelfc today.
Our year 6 boys are unfortunately away so our year 5 boys are stepping up and doing our school proud! Good luck to the team β½οΈ
