I'm only in my 3rd year of sales, but have leaned heavily on AI to save time on my sales processes.
Most reps that are using AI to augment sales processes are doing it wrong - too many threads, shitty prompts, and constant hallucinations.
Here's how I'm tackling it:
5 numbers to pull before you sign anything:
#1. % of reps at quota (under 50% = the OTE is fap)
#2. revenue growth vs the average top 3 competitors (growing slower than the market = crashing plane)
#3. inbound vs self-sourced pipeline
#4. average promotion timeline
#5. where the last 3 reps in your seat ended up
5 minutes of digging. five years of your life on the line.
Cheap money and the printer going burrrr have created massively outsized gains for a small amount of people, and if we are honest, most of them do not deserve it. Almost no one is building like Elon is. Central banking did this. Total scam, and everyone knows it.
Shoutout to @askobylarz for the plug on my GPT sales process project thread:

Still open to any new ideas or additions anyone might have.
NGL, developed a habit using post-it notes to track my to-dos daily. Eventually this turned into an ugly, disorganized pile of them on my desk.
Saw the viral post about a txt file organization system and cleared my desk for the week.
Aesthetics really do matter for workflow.
