I think Thomas fans should consider actual story significance above aesthetics specifically talking about Donald and Douglas but I'm sure there are other examples

Hot take: I kinda hate when people say that some engines are "too modern for Sodor". It makes it feel like Sodor is anti progress or something and that's not right. I think a big appeal of Sodor is being able to see the old work alongside the new.
I find it funny that when most people talk about a conflict they ignore the fact that multiple parties in a winning side contributed to that victory in the conflict, cough cough the World Wars lol
