what's even more interesting is the patterns look like prototypes, and differ slightly from what came out

after 2 years, i finally have the complete set of the MAX Hamburgers Mario plushes. i may not be into plushes anymore, but these guys are super cool. feels good to finally have them all. i have to give a big thanks to @NathanCollects for letting me have the Luigi.

i recently got sent these pictures of this pretty cool prototype rayman plush by a friend. this plush predates the playbyplay plush. the original owner is unknown, but if your out there, please reach out! would love to see some better pictures of the plush.

back when smash brawl released, gamestop had a small promotion where they sold the kellytoy mario plushes as a bonus for anyone who bought a copy. i just so happen to own a luigi from this promotion, with the tag having an old gamestop price tag. not something you see every day.

there are also many others in this set, such as this really neat Dig Dug one and a cool Druaga one. they’re all apart of a set by Yujin where there are multiple Namco characters in this keychain/dog tag form. these are the ones i own. pretty cool set!

i think one game series that rarely gets any attention has to be Mappy. this was one of the first games i ever played as a kid, and it’s been a favorite of mine for years. there is hardly any merch of Mappy out there, so this kaychain/dog tag is super unique.

there are also different cans mirinda did with nintendo, such as these pokemon ones. very cool designs!

made an interesting discovery: if you’ve ever seen that OoT ad of Link drinking a bottle of Mirinda soda, you’ll probably recognize this. never knew that there was a pic of a can from the promo out there, along with a limited edition GBC (apparently only 50 units were made).

theres different variants too, each from different places around the world. never knew about these, this may be common knowledge to others but i find these consoles to be very cool. don’t know how limited the other consoles are.

after 7 long months, i finally received a very important piece. this is the MAX DK plush from the Swedish MAX Hamburgers Super Mario plush line from 2007. thankfully it arrived in one piece, and i am super happy to finally own it. now i just need luigi and i have the full set.

I’ve always really liked this design of mario, it’s like a mix of the 64 and GC era marios put into one. wish there was more stuff like figures and statues from this era of mario to be honest. it has a certain charm to it.
