@PezRadar The whole community (the Reddit in particular) is jumping up and down with excitement about this one. Great post, and well played to the person who gave you that!
@wheresourLOGIC@CalltoActivism Outside that statement being completely ridiculous - there are plenty of (granted, rare) cases where a loaded gun could kill someone by itself.
Not shocking.
What’s shocking is that we allow the most extreme 20% to dictate our laws, electing these folks to state legislatures, governorships, and congress. Time and time again we cede power and sensibility to this bananas minority. It has to stop. It’s killing us.
Republicans said that mask mandates & lockdowns during a global pandemic were an ‘infringement on their rights’, and yet:
In the state of Idaho, the Republican Governor has implemented an interstate travel RESTRICTION on abortion care.
In Kansas, Republicans have authorized genital inspections of CHILDREN in order for kids to play sports.
In Florida, the Republican controlled legislature wants to PROHIBIT female students from discussing their menstrual cycles in school.
And in Indiana, the Republican Governor has signed into law a total BAN on gender affirming care for minors - even for those already currently transitioning.
But do go on about mask mandates and lockdowns won’t you.
The problem Silicon Valley Bank faces today is VERY different than the 2007-2009 banking crisis.
$SIVB was thriving. Credit losses are fairly low. Its deposits TRIPLED from 2019 to ‘21.
How’s that a problem?
It sounds great, right?
Well, it’s a Wonderful Life…

@amazon Hey.
We were just delivered two packages that aren't for us, and I can't find any way to contact Support or report someone else's package as delivered incorrectly.
@CPAC@AOC@mattgaetz Yeah. You love "America."
Just not most of the people in it. Or its laws. Or its history.
...Or pretty much everything about it except the hellscape fantasy world you're trying to sell people on.
@bfcarlson The presumption that a "welfare state" is the problem when we have *insane* wealth inequality is laughable. Even more so because now we're in significantly worse shape, and are MUCH less of a welfare state than we were then.
@TomCottonAR You know how this reads, right? You would rather *none* of the citizens of DC should have participatory Democracy than that one law needs to be changed.
Last time I checked, you're on the wrong side of the Constitution (and the Bible) on that.
Celebratory gunfire is not a game. What goes up, must come down. Unfortunately, each year innocent bystanders pay the price for this dangerous and reckless practice.
PLEASE refrain from engaging in celebratory gun fire.
