Years ago, I did research on Nazi propagandist Josef Goebbels, who mastered disinformation and invented the concept of the Big Lie. His most known quote, was: "IF you tell a lie, AND make it big enough, AND tell it over and over again often enough, people WILL believe it." Trump (and Musk) live this message.
But Goebbels ALSO said something else, less known, and that is: "The enemy of the Big Lie IS the truth, and the truth must NEVER be spoken. IF the truth is spoken enough, it WILL defeat the Big Lie."
THIS is why it drives me crazy when Dems don't counter Trump enough.
Trump's newest lie that he's begun repeating in a Goebbels-like manner - is that he has been exonerated in the Epstein files. Yes, we know it's ridiculous. BUT - there NEEDS to be people SAYING that he HASN'T been exonerated, and in fact, FAR FROM IT, and in further fact, there are allegations to the contrary, and IN FURTHER FACT, he acts every day like he's GUILTY!
