On today’s episode of the Boycode Mentorship Series, we welcome Joel Moses Babatunde, popularly known as @MeetJMB .
We are looking forward to this session.
Great experience volunteering at the BoyCode interview session. Grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and share this moment with one of the judges. 📸

You better pause 😒
Watch the snippet I created for you...@BoycodeConf is not just training boys, rather building gods that will shake the industry in years to come.
So a quick back story..I found so much interest in Artificial Intelligence and I truly love how it works (literally I love robots and animals), I had the vision to build and create my own AI in the near future.
But.....
Two things stunted my growth;
1. The stereotype that I am an Art study + I am a graduate of the department of Theatre Arts.
2. The laptop stereotype > I didn't have a laptop at the time, I later got one though but still, it spoilt in a month or so....
And so, based on the above excuses I told and gave myself, coupled with the fact that I was really confused (still confused though, but I am trying as much as I can to reduce the noise now) I stopped learning to code, I ventured into other things like writing, and creating nice contents (still learning though...but at least I am there).
And so, now I am back full time... I have decided to grab the bull 🐂 by the horn, even though I still don't have a laptop yet, I will use my phone for now.
I will start. I will build. I will grow... With the help of steady determination and consistency...coupled with the aid of @BoycodeConf I will do much better.
The sky is just the start point ☝️

Alhamdulillah.
Sometimes one random application changes everything.
I applied to @BoyCodeAfrica without knowing what to expect.
I left with new friends, new perspectives, and one lesson that will stay with me:
Be at the top of the value chain.
Thank you, @BoycodeConf . 🚀

"Training the boychild conversation"
Pitching to Male CEOs, male ooooo and some of them telling me their organization is solely focused on girl child. (Because girl child is popular, it gets more attention and it looks good
I’m crowdfunding to get 50 boys laptops.
It’s not enough to train them in tech , they need the tools to use their skills. Given out 80+ laptops , we need more .
