An emotional coming-of-age story that I look forward to sharing with Year 10s @Grange_School . It is a must read that I just couldn't put down. Thank you to Mrs Marshall @grangelibrary20 for introducing @DeanAtta to us.
@MrAlexRiley@Team_English1 We've just done Othello with Y9. I was a bit apprehensive at first because a) I studied it at A level (a long time ago) and b) I thought it would be too heavy for them. The students loved it and so did I despite having to learn it all over again. We also focused on Iago.
I 'definately' knew it was Ian Buckells @martin_compston. For all those people moaning about the ending, how else could it be resolved. Well done @jed_mercurio. Still don't trust Carmichael though! Another series?
Today, as @UKLaureate, I have written an open letter to the govt @10DowningStreet calling on them to put primary school libraries at the heart of our pandemic response, with ยฃ100m yearly investment. Read here; please share with #lifechanginglibraries
