@crystalaparici6 At our school we had also used a program called Netsupport. It only worked on Window or Mac computers and they had to all be linked to the same network. It was helpful. #6710DB2

@MsTeach09206208 That is the part I don't like. If we try to keep up with all the new tools coming out, we cannot become skilled with the tools we were using. I might be thinking about things all wrong.

What is a "big shift" you struggle with or need to overcome? I struggle with how I can use relevant technology tools in a world where technology changes so quickly. Our tools may seem relevant but the pace of change can make them obsolete quicker than we can adapt. #6710DB2

@aw61waldenu @Alysiateaches19 Student who feel as if they are in a safe environment, will also offer to share the lessons they have learned about online safety. If we allow them to discuss the social networking tools they use, it can lead to lessons based their experiences and backgrounds #6710DB2

@Tech_in1stgrade If we use tools such as SMART boards and SMART tables, we do not have to worry about students who struggle with letter recognition. Using different tools allows us to integrate technology at all levels and across currciculum. #6710DB2

@willrich45 My colleagues and I often have this conversation in our school. Decisions are often made the focus on what is right for teachers or what is easiest of the administration. If we used your test questions, there would be more changes happening in more areas.

@crystalaparici6 Students are often exposed to a wider range of Web 2.0 tools. We could ask students to share and discuss some of the tools. This would widen our exposure and allow us to explore new tools with the help of a teacher (our students). #6710DB2

@wason_kevin17 Having students focus on "building better people through technology" would also be a nice way of incorporating the ITSE standard of digital citizenship. It would remind them that their use of technology should positive, safe, ethical, and legal. #6710DB2

@MsTeach09206208 As teachers, we must report to others how it relates to our standards or our curriculum. It feels like it add extra step to exploring new tools. That extra step makes many of us unwilling to use something new. #6710DB2

How must mindsets change in order to bring classroom change? We must realize that integrating technology in the classroom is not another curriculum to teach but a bridge between the curriculum that we teach. A way to link all the things we teach. #6710DB2
