@jeff_gluck @RyanVargas_23 I used to watch monster jam in the early 2000s with my grandpa. The trucks back then were true monsters. You turn it on now and its like their target age demographic is 3-6 and all the trucks look like they were taken straight out of a toddlers afternoon tv show.

@B7grWinning @DanBurnerr @OmniTheGoat24 @jeff_gluck When a trailing car gets behind another it shuts off the air to the trailing cars diffuser which makes them lose downforce. Its not because the dirty air isnt worse than it was in gen 6, its because of the aerodependency of the difuser

The difuser was put on the next gen not for downforce purposes, it was put there in an attempt to clean up the dirty air coming off the car. This had a unforeseen side affect of making the cars too aero dependent

Youve mistaken dirty air for aero dependency, the dirty air isnt worse it just has a greater effect on these cars because of the underbody aero

While the air is cleaner it just makes the car more aero dependent. Theres no arguing that, its just a fact you gotta accept.

Its the giant brakes, wide tires, independent rear suspension, transaxle/sequential shifting that makes the cars drive so well on roadcourses which leads to lack of mistakes and lack of incidents

@B7grWinning @DanBurnerr @OmniTheGoat24 @jeff_gluck The detriment of the difuser is that it makes the cars heavily aero dependant so when the airstream gets shut off to the nose of the car the vehicle loses all its downforce. Its not that dirty air is worse, its more of a detriment than it used to be because of the underbody aero
