@Walshc111Walsh Think you need to watch some of the cricket mate.Your nearest one has about 7/8 games a year. Hardly every week. And no where near 6 hours a week training. Small sample I know but this notion that private schools are in some way the route of all evil in CAG is a bit far fetched
@Walshc111Walsh From experience the CAG system works from U10, players drift in and out, late arrivals bloom.Of current U16,only 5 have played each yr from U10 which shows something. One who missed U10 is now in Academy.Costs I agree with but private 121s whatever your schooling ain’t cheap!
@Walshc111Walsh Standard is variable and as you can see of the 7/8 fixtures at U13 LY 4 are against 2 of the same oppo and at least one of the other games was canned as the oppo couldn’t raise a team.
GMCL PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS: A huge well done to Roe Green who have sealed the Premier League title for the first time, with a 2 wicket win over Heaton today!

Lancs U12s CAG boys play Yorkshire tomorrow (Weds 27th July) at Norden CC, Rochdale, starting at 11.00am, 45 overs. Looking for something to watch? why not come along and support. Coaches from local clubs, junior team managers, club officials, parents are all welcome. 👍🏏🌹
All credit to the Managers Steve Allington and Tony Munro, the coaches @mickfletcher65 and Hanno for what they have done with this group this year. All done in the right way- at least 9 bowling each game. Future is 💚
Congratulations to @RoeGreenCricket U13s who won the league this morning when they beat Clifton.Set 108 to win,Clifton needed 4 off the last over bowled by The⛽️ mon … this was the last ball with 3 still needed.Proud of JP - Captain, retired 30* and bowled well under pressure.
@DavidLeighton3 2/2 social and lambast and make the Club out to be in the wrong for showing the world what their kid has done. If you don’t show footage on social you don’t find out who did it - the police sadly never will. If they catch them in the act nothing happens other than a lift home.
@DavidLeighton3 1/2 Generally nothing- depends on parents. They are usually a) horrified their little Johnny has been seen on CCTV vandalising and take action themselves and profusely apologise and they never do it again or b) parents don’t give a toss, angry their little Johnny is being shown on
