@timpayton It is the first time in the history of the World Cup that a red card was given via VAR where the protocols weren’t appropriately applied. So there isn’t history for them to draw from.
@YouAreMyArsenal@TaylorTwellman You realize that Flo’s red card was the first time that a mistake like this has been made so there isn’t history to draw from. The moment VAR was accepted it was agreed that we want to get these decisions correct.
@jokers_gambit@ESPNFC This is literally the first time in history that VAR was used incorrectly to send a player off in the World Cup. So either way this would have set a precedent.
@OptaJohan@YouAreMyArsenal It is the first time in the history of the World Cup that a red card was given via VAR where the protocols weren’t appropriately applied. So yes, this sets a precedent, so the next time a red card is given inappropriately via a VAR protocol violation, FIFA can correct it.
@MitchSchwartz71 Can we all agree that the offense has looked sloppy since Bienemy left? We need to get him back in here as as a quality control coach. He needs to freak out on people.
@AtoZ_Payton I was at the game. I can tell you what I saw. The refs came together immediately after the play was done. I’m not sure if it came in from NY, but I would imagine that if it came from New York then you would have seen the huddle happen later.
@Remzsx I think the why you aren’t donating could have some psychological impacts that you can’t predict. Your dad is a stranger, would you give a stranger your kidney if they needed it? Personally I wouldn’t because I have kids and I want to make sure I’m an option if they would need it
@Michell33650674 Clearly someone hasn’t consumed enough true crime media. If you are dealing with the police in any form of criminal case you should have a lawyer present. There still might be something fishy, but having a lawyer to talk to the police should become normalized.
@KevinRuprecht It is the Jackson County Sports Authority. The Chiefs and Royals lease these buildings. Now we can agrue that they should pay more than $1 Mill a year for Arrowhead, but renovations and upkeep, that is on the owner of the building to fund. Otherwise their tenets could leave.
