@IVIagixVAL@chrollosoll Yes. Goof is a go word. Heavily used in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver.
The accent varies by region but it’s undeniably Canadian.
My absolute favourite part of @hardlorepod is hearing my fave artists’ Top 4 fave hardcore records, getting inspired and listening to new shit.
So, use this as an excuse to RT or reply with your Top 4 yall
@oldcanadaseries Every time this picture makes the rounds it is mislabeled as being from The 80s or 90s but it is from a Pointed Sticks show in 2006/07, shortly before Dicks On Dicks closed for good
@BellInMySkin@Shinich08413513 Wrong. You can easily tell who is playing which solo- they label the guitar solo breaks in their liner notes and hard pan the guitars Jeff> left channel and Kerry> right channel
@bluewmist People who have never had a 9 to 5 complaining about “work” and it’s just grocery shopping/ chores/ errands real working class people have to juggle every day on TOP of going to work
@allrockmusic Violator is perfect. Although I think the Cure has more overall great albums in their catalog than DM, Violator takes it (I love Disintegration since its release but can rarely listen to it ALL in one sitting)
@Demeter_Erinia Yes. From about 1982-1984, me, my sisters and every kid we knew in about a 100 mile radius was absolutely gripped with MJ fever. The album, the singles, the music videos, the dolls, the buttons, we even had little sequin gloves 🤣
