Thanks to everyone who signed the brain cancer justice petition, we now have a Westminster Hall debate scheduled for 15/6
So please email your MP & ask them to attend. If brain cancer has broken your heart too - ask them to share your story.
We’ve waited far too long for change.
@helenmaguiremp This is fantastic to hear. Helen please come to the Parliament debate on 15th June to encourage the same action for brain cancer patients. We’ve seen no progress for decades. GM
How is it possible that these photos are 5 years apart?
I’ll never understand how our beloved girl went from running a marathon to leaving this world
3 years today and we miss Laura every minute of every day.
Our job now is to continue her fight against #BrainCancer#BeMoreLaura
The petition debate for brain cancer takes place in Parliament on 15th June.
More than 109,000 people refused to stay silent about a disease that has been neglected for far too long.
We have already shown that people do care about brain cancer. Now we need MPs to reinforce this
🗣️ If you’ve been diagnosed with a Glioblastoma, we would love to hear from you.
❤️ This trial represents real hope.

NIHR your action is VITAL! We are losing too many, too quickly, with no chance of living longer. You can improve your system, reduce paperwork, expedite authorisation. Your decisions have a big impact on brain cancer patients. Think about our next generation. @NIHRresearch

Grateful for the support from Baroness Paul of Shepherd’s Bush for brain cancer patients. Early in her new role she has highlighted the current ineffectiveness of the clinical trials system.
The ‘Cancer Outcomes in the UK’ discussion can be viewed on Hansard.

Today, we remember Phil Woolas.
But with no improvement in outcomes for glioblastoma in 40 years, condolences are no longer enough.
What is needed is the wholesale commitment of @DHSCgovuk, the NIHR, and the pharmaceutical industry to find a cure through the use of drug trials.
Georgie Maynard and Gabby Allen highlighted that brain cancer needs to be heard louder: Brain cancer is underfunded, under-researched, and too often the “forgotten cancer.”
@johnmcdonnellMP Thank you so much for joining us to deliver to No.10. It is much appreciated that you regularly raise questions in Parliament around brain cancer in support of your constituents. Excitingly we achieved 109,055 signatures so we hope this will now lead to a Parliamentary debate.
Emotional, powerful day handing 109,055 signatures to No. 10.
BCJ then headed to Parliament Sq for the “Unfulfilled Promises” rally.
Patients & families united to turn TERMINAL to TREATABLE.
The signatures was the easy part. The hard work starts now! 👊

In Parliament Square today for the Unfulfilled Promises rally organised by @BrainCancerJust.
We heard powerful speeches from patients, campaigners and bereaved families about the years with little real progress in brain cancer treatment.
It’s time for change.
Thank you @DrScottArthurMP
We look forward to seeing the much needed action across these cancers, the less survivable cancers, and in particular brain cancer, the biggest cancer killer of children and under 40 year olds.
The Rare Cancers Act is now law, meaning we will be able to:
➡️ boost research and clinical trials on rare cancers
➡️ review the law around rare cancer drugs
➡️ provide faster routes to connect patients to research
Matthew and Georgie joined Iain Dale on @LBC to raise awareness of brain cancer and the challenges facing patients.
Matthew lost his wife to Glioblastoma and Georgie is living with one.
They share the harsh reality of brain cancer:

Not much time so please act NOW… please email your MP and encourage them to come to our event on Monday.
And if you can come please let us know: https://t.co/G7FssRVNuC
Please keep signing and sharing. We need to ensure the Government takes patient’s voices seriously. We need the Right to Try new treatments, repurposed treatments, treatments that deliver more time to live.
